I've always loved htis song, and I've always found it touching, but now I don't think I can listen to it without crying. I just got home a few hours ago from the funeral of one of my good friends who died of cancer just last week. He was only thirteen years old, and he was a twin, so just thinking about what his twin sister would feel listening to this song is sad. They look and act so much alike, the line "I see your resemblence in my face" applies perfectly to them. This whole song applies so much to the situation that it's unbelievable. I want to play this song for his sister, but I don't know if it would help her or hurt her. In any case, this is an amazingly touching song. -J. Stauffer |
