Yes, the line is "I erased my fingernails with lye and gasoline" The jacket in their CD has incorrect lyrics for that line. I love The Smashup, too bad they're still relatively unknown.. I saw them live at Warped Tour in 2007. At the end of their show the drummer threw one of his sticks into the crow and I caught it, and met them afterwards & got it signed. They're pretty cool guys too. This song is one of my favorites, & I basically share the same views on the song as Some_3517. |

No, "Kobayashi maru" only from Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan, and then other factional works after Star Trek. And they meant it to reference the Kobayashi maru Star Trek situation, it fits with the rest of the song. Making decisions, no win situations, etc. |
