I saw Julia live the other night and she explained two of the references in this song- the first being the piano teacher's son is/was in a screamo (I think) band that wrote a mean song about her. The second story she told was about her father not letting her go to a party when she was twelve. She said she insisted that he didn't trust her, and to prove that he did her let her shave his mustache. |
