See I have always seen this song very differently. The album is supposed to be about Anne Frank and I was told that Two-Headed Boy pt. 1 and 2 were suppose to be about Peter the boy that loved and grew up with her. I always thought that this song was like from the point of view of a son that Peter had and he knew that he would rather be with Anne than whoever he ended up with. In the part where he says "But, don't hate her when she gets up to leave" is like Peter realizing that everything was a dream and that Anne is dead. |
