| Anberlin – Modern Age Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| i was skeptical about this album after their last 2 efforts, however, THIS song is the best they have put out since dismantle/repair off the cities album. it has everything I love in an anberlin song: somewhat dark tone, catchy synth, deep lyrics (especially 2nd half of the first verse), memorable chorus. it also has a similar song structure to paperthin hymn (the song that got me into the band) including that short section leading into the final chorus where the instrumentals cut out and stephen's voice takes center stage. 15/10!!!!! | |
| Underoath – Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
it took this song a while to grow on me and for me to "get" it. those somber last tones after the singing is over creep down my spine and into my soul. this whole song, if you stripped the vocals out, sounds like something straight out of that movie Friday Night Lights, that band explosions in the sky. fuckin love it |

| Anberlin – Hell or Highwater Lyrics | 15 years ago |

| Coheed and Cambria – Far Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I lvoe the interpretation that its about the couple growing apart after their son died. never read the book but it seems to fit! and I love how the last word transitions into those solemn tones. that ending really makes the song for me. |
|
| Coheed and Cambria – The Black Rainbow Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| i really liked this song as the end of the album. for some reason i love the way he sings "to believe in our doubt" in the opening verse. and i love how the song goes from so solemn-sounding to the epic "wishing one day we could be strong" leading into the guitar. | |
| Circa Survive – I Felt Free Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| after a first listen straight through the album, this song stuck out and is my initial favorite for the time being. the guitar part and the breakdown after the second chorus give me chills. finally able to break free of that person your world revolved around. that's what it means to me. | |
| Underoath – Letting Go Of Tonight Lyrics | 16 years ago |

| OceanLab – Satellite Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think you are on the right track. However, I see the person the song is about as an object of desire or past lover that maybe doesn't even know/remember the singer exists. The "satellite" part you spoke of, with her life revolving around his, is genius. I envision a girl who is dwelling on someone, and watching them from a distance, unable to let go. He is praying to his lucky star at night, and she is saying that he will never realize that she is, in fact, his lucky star. | |

Here's my take on the video. I think the little boy and girl are trapped in this house with their abusive father. When the two children are sitting in the hallway in the beginning, I think the boy is trying to comfort his sister. Maybe the boy just got done being abused (which is why he is wearing next to nothing) and his sister is next. The girl has aspirations, she wants to be a dancer. The boy stays in his room and just exercises all the time, perhaps to one day be able to stop his father's abuse. The crazy-looking guy and the medium-aged woman are older versions of the two children, which is maybe why they never interact with the children over the course of the video. The crazy guy finally snaps and kills his father. The girl had aspirations and dreams, which is why she appeared to turn out somewhat normal and even cried when her father was dead. The boy ended up going crazy because he had nothing to live towards. The old lady with the phone might be the mother. This might be why she appears to be in the smallest room in the house. She can't do anything to stop what is happening to her children. I'm not too sure about this one though. The small house symbolizes the fact that sometimes there is just no way to get away from the things confining you. The big clue for me was at the end when the boy looks into the camera. You can tell he hates his father but can't do anything to stop him. It's the same mean look the crazy guy gives at one point during the video. This may be totally off, but its just what I see when I watch it. |

| Senses Fail – Buried A Lie Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Lol. This song is not about rape or relationships. It's a simple, catchy, made-up song that the dude probably wrote after watching some murder mystery on TV. This one can definitely be taken at face value. Video sucked, lyrics to the verses suck, but that chorus is really catchy. |

| Bullet for My Valentine – Just Another Star Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| My favorite song by them. The chorus is just amazing. | |
| Brand New – Degausser Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Actually you are a moron for not being able to spell the word "moron". | |
| The Ataris – The Boys of Summer (Don Henley cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This may be my favorite song of all time. Reminds me of the girl I had/still have feelings for. We got close during the summer and just when I was starting to fall for her I had to leave for college. She has a boyfriend now, but there is still something there. She knows I'll always be there for her and I know that one day, I'll get my chance to be with her. "And I don't understand what happened to our love, but baby when I get you back, I'm gonna show you what I'm made of..." |
|
| G-Unit – Wanna Get To Know Ya Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. The whole song is amazing. Some of the lyrics aren't great, but that can always be expected from a rap song. I've loved this song for years and it's one I'll never get tired of. "We can do it all the night We can have a ball tonight..." |
|
| LL Cool J – Hush Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| One of my favorite songs of all time. Video is good too. | |

The correct lyrics: "You put blame but you're running. I feel safe in the incline. I can't shake this little feeling, I'll never say anything right." |
