Just a couple of thoughts... 'Children of the sun' = planets 'begin to wake' = earthquake 'Sea was red and the sky was grey' = sunset, not sunrise. The sun sets over the sea on the west coast. Sunset is also the time of day when you'd be more likely to wonder 'how tomorrow could ever follow today.' The words don't quite do justice to the music though. |

Note the writer's Chantal Kreviazuk, so no point in giving Bily Joel credit for the words is there? Though how such a young woman (b 1973) could write this song's a mystery. |
