this song, i think, is about the london bombings... "spot the train, spot the monster" referring to the terrorists basically just refers to what i think are the 7/7 bombings all the way through the song |

the song, well i think is about pete and his crack buddies its about how he got off the heroin but they just got him back into it "It’s not about tenements and needles, or all the evils in the eyes and the backs of their minds" and "I've tried so hard to keep myself from falling back to my bad old ways, and it chars my heart to always hear you calling, " |

well this is my first time on this site but i think this song is about growing up too fast "Just give me moments Not hours or days" suggests about growing up fast and it taking moments like some adults say. and "can still kick a ball a hundred yards" is saying how he can still do things children can "clink two bottles and memories of the past" is well i think either the clinking of two beer bottles like in a cheers motion to remember childhood or how children make sounds with homemade instruments hence the clinking on bottles. i think that "sitting in silence in bars afer work" suggests how dull and awkward it can be being an adult and i think all the mention of trains is about commuting well thats what i think any advances? |
