Red Hot Chili Peppers – Sikamikanico Lyrics 18 years ago
I think it has something to do with organized crime or something, given the reference to Sinatra and then mention "So big boy say you want bad news/We doubt our mama's been confused". I dunno, just an abstract thought.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – I Could Die for You Lyrics 18 years ago
I thought this song might be in reference to Jesus or something. Speaking from Jesus, I mean. How he died for our sins and whatnot.

The only thing that didn't fit with that were the lyrics "What it means for me/To be with you alone
Close the door and/No one has to know/How we are". But thinking about it, you can think of it as someone confessing, and how great he feels that people will fess up to their wrong doings, even despite his sacrifice of his life for our salvation.

But thats just a religious interpretation.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Body of Water Lyrics 18 years ago
I think its about unrequited love, and water is suppose to be like him drowning in sorrow of having no proper reciprocation of his love.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Out of Range Lyrics 18 years ago
I think its more of Anthony seperating himself from something. He says "your voice is crackin' up across state lines", implying that the distance from whatever he's talking about is making the voice of the object hard to understand.

This could be multiple things, if you ask me. It could be a girl, or his seperation from heroin, or from former band mates such as Hillel Slovak.

However, I doubt this is about drugs, from the heavy notions of love. The notions do not exclude Hillel from the picture though.

All and all, its about seperation from the love of something, and how he selflessly ignores the object, saying "I tell you that I could be living
Today with you or without you, ok".

Whatever, thats just what I got.
