| Richard Ashcroft – Cry Til The Morning Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I totally agree this is the highpoint of Ashcroft's latest offering. Love it. To me it sounds like its about a person, who may have been suffering and has met somebody who gets them through the hard time by pouring their heart out and consequently falls in love 'First that I ever saw you, Knew nothing would ever be the same. Sweet love in the process, There were things that I needed to explain' the deep base and piano are awsome |

| Doves – The Storm Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think this song is about two lovers torn apart through tragedy or death, and it is a plea from the other side by the deceased to their lover to come through the grief and pain 'Don't give up be strong Don't be sad I'm gone'. The son ends with 'I'll see you on the other side So come out the other side' meaning we will meet in heaven again soon so just get through this initial pain. the violin harmonica and the acoustic are all beautiful x |

| chilled as they come, can be put on repeat and will send you into a harmonious semi-concious sleep | |
| The Verve – History Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This has to be one of Ashcroft's greatest works, deffinately about a lover walking away from him, an expression of him not being able to let go and the depression that he is overcome with as a result. | |
