I dont think of 9/11 in anyway when I hear this song. I just think of a hard time, yes, 9/11 was a hard experience, but i dont think of it. And it kinda ruins the song for me. |

This song is amazing. It's the perfect song to play when ou feel at your lowest. I dont know how many times I've played it, in my car, while it's raining and just drove and cried. This song has so many memories. I couldnt' begin to explain it, but I had a crush on someone once, and it ended horribly, and now everytime i hear it, it reminds me of what i could have had, had i not have said anything about the crush...oh well right? So whenever I'm thinking about that, or just want to listen to a really good song at the loudest setting possible in my car, in the rain, this is it. |

To me, this song talks about not knowing who you are. It's like he's trying to tell someone younger than him, that when you reach a certain age you start to question things. You start to really evaluate everything you thought was important and if it really is anymore. It's like he's questioning every fiber of his being, and a younger person is trying to understand, wants to understand even, but can't. Because he'll never understand until he's there. This song really means a lot to me, I found it at a point in my life when I really was questioning everything in my life, who i was and who I am going to be. Thank God for The Fray and this song. |
