this song has so much meaning. i do not think its a goodbye song. to me i think of it as saying that this artist is so in love, that its just like the rain turning sand into mud. It seems like someone so special has changed her life, made them into somebody loved. And it's not just being somebody loved, its changed their whole life. they finally have someone who is willing to love them, who just does it naturally. and when she thinks about the times when they first fought, she doesnt know why or how, all she knows, is that someone amazing ahs turned her into somebody loved.
