great song but shakira doesnt need reggeaton to hit.ive noticed that she works harder doing albums in spanish than in english.in english,,shake a little ass here and there and she owns the crowd. the trumpet piece almost got her into trouble because that trumpet sound was originally in a salsa song of jerry rivera "amores como el nuestro" composed by omar alfano. and the line when she says "baila la calle de noche,baila la calle de dia" also got her into trouble because its from a dominican song called "carnaval".its been sung by many dominicans but its mostly recognized when fernandito villalona sang it. and to those who dont want to bother to learn spanish or even feel offended because shakira had "the nerve" to incorporate her culture into a song,or even refuse the existence of this language or any other "foreign" language,,excellent. excellent because that means 90 percent of the world wont have to spend time talking to you,,let alone listen to you. |

osvaldo rios is paisano mio.but the dude is a nutjob.yet he does have good taste in women.the problem is that 97 percent of his past flames look just the same,,white,bright eyed and dark haired.the only 3 chicks that arent the same were the lawyer who he banged while being in prison,a iconic singer from spain whos name i cant remember and shakira. this song is great,but not her best one. |
