Broken promises all the way. The title pretty much says everything. I don't agree about the obsession-comment at all, this girl has been betrayed by someone who promised her everything and now she wants revenge. I know it's not supposed to but this song makes me happy. |

I think that this song is about how people have embellished the concept of suicide. I also detect hints of distaste towards the clichés surrounding such an act. The "Why live a lie"-part I can either interpret as the reasoning of someone who's lost hope, obviously, but it can also be meant to express confusion towards the teen angst trend where people actually "fakes" depression or convinces themselves that they are depressed. |
