i didn't think that this song was about drugs at first but i can see why some people think it is. but, as with all elliotts songs i think it has many different meanings. i took it quite literally "Sunshine been keeping me up for days" this sounds crazy, but i hate being conscious and would rather be asleep forever but i can never sleep in the light. thats just what i thought first time i heard it anyways, lol. but basically i agree with most peoples views, this song probably is about drugs whether you like it or not, as many of elliotts songs probably are, when you're addicted to something you do think about it alot... |

these comments have made me half embarassed half proud to be british lol. i don't like the idea of being isolated, it doesn't actually feel that small when you're here. but anyways. i agree the song isn't really about any country appart from maybe the girl is british. plus otherwise this song would be really insulting if it was actually about britain. anyways rambled on a bit...basically agree mostly with TheInvisMan. |
