first of all this song is soooo damn amazing! this is like one of most favorite songs of all time!! and i totally agree with everyone who said this song is about someone screwing him over with love. I love how he says "you change direction everytime someone judges us" like the girl was too worried about what everyone thought. umm ok to all the people writing term papers and shit about the "white americans" comment...Jack is obviously upset about the whole double standard there is in this country. So let the man be pissed off because those lyrics are genius. When I first hear the "you can't be a pimp and a prostitute too" i laughed soo hard! It was hilarious because he is SOOO right. |

Ok first, this song does not prove JoJo is a HoHo...it proves that she has feelings for her friend but he is too busy noticing these other chicks...and she's right there in front of him. I mean a bagillion girls have gone through this same thing. Boys don't always notice what's right in front of them. I love how she says' "I don't have much to offer but my heart and soul, but I guess that's not good enough for you to notice me" loves it! |

This is one of the most beautiful love songs I have ever heard. I love the fact that Gavin plays off the movie in his lyrics like the part "We Belong Together like the open seas and shores" Tristan + Isolde "met" on the beach. He really just touches people's feelings about love in this song. Gavin is a freakin genius. |
