| The Police – Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Hmm. I have to disagree with this being an image of people are new to each other. To me it's more about someone that's known the object of their affection for a while. The bit about "a thousand rainy days since we first met", I take to mean that they have been through their ups and downs as they've known each other. "It's always me that ends up getting wet" means to me that he just keeps getting pushed out into the "rain", basically meaning that even though he's there for her and they are maybe even friends, he's not the top priority in her life and gets the short end of the stick. |

So the lyrics aren't correct here. It's "... to the haze of the city and go south." and the one poster before is right, It is "All the stars and boulevards ain't close enough for you." Although I too heard it as "to" to begin with. I thought of it as that she was really attention hungry, that the stars and boulevard ( of L.A. perhaps?) didn't satisfy her need. |

| The feeling I got about the New York, L.A. bit was that he was just sick of it, and giving up like whatever it's all the same who cares kind of attidude. | |

| I've always listened to this song when I'm about to fall asleep. It's so calming and beautiful. | |

| Taking Back Sunday – Error Operator (Fantastic Four version) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| When Louder Now first came out, this is the song I first downloaded and my favorite for a long time. Then I got the album and heard that version. I like this version better, because it's a little more wild than the album version, although that's a bit hard explain. I like the bridge part especially because it builds up to the guitar extravaganza. | |

This is my favorite song of of All the Stars and Boulevards. I agree with the people before me. It's most definately about a relationship that's ending most likely because of distance. I caught the reference to Boston and California in both Boston and this song as well. To me it was like he loved someone who was happy with they're life far away. I know the feeling so I guess that's what this song holds so much pleasure for me. Something not mentioned is that during the "No, I won't" part "Don't come back" is sung in the background. It's hard to distinguish on the cd, but in concert they practically shouted it at the end. So that makes me think that this is the kind of love affair where you love the person, but you know that the best thing is for him or her to stay out of your life, because they aren't making it better. |
