So many possibilities for this song, but I have a personal opinion. The way thatI relate to the song. "I look at Earth from here Still you don't seem so far" This is saying that it CAN happen. The person thinks about, maybe even day dreams about it. "But you will never know (we will never know) Oh you will never know." I like this line a lot. Why not give it a try anyway? Maybe there is another person involved somewhere. Maybe even two others. A big old love square. "I, I wish I could tell you how I feel And show you what's inside of me is real I don't know what I'm waiting for Can't explain it anymore, yeah." Maybe the person is afraid to say anything because it will involve too much pain and too many accusations. In the end, the person decides to go on not admitting anything because it is easier that way. Just my opinion. |

| I think that this song is supposed to dig into you. For example, if you've ever called anybody a name, such as faggot, then why did you do it? Why does it matter if he is or isn't? You just are afraid of it rubbing off on you, afraid of maybe likeing it too. I can;t quite explain my thought, but i think this is a truly amazing song. It gets you thinking... | |

I, personally, feel that this song is written to show us that if any thing from another world came to help us save our earth, we've already hurt it too much. They would just have to leave and the few of us that wanted the help have to watch the last little bit of hope fly away. We are killing ourselves and our earth in a way that these "things" cannot stand to watch any longer. "Paper, for which you're killing a brother's life" I think the above line refers to killing each other for money. This is just my opinion on the song though.... very meaningful. | I also like the way all of their songs are of war. This one by far is the best I've heard though. | |
