if this album was written when there were 3 billion people in the world, it would have been written in the 1960s... 3 billion is the supposed population of the developed world. |

| i think it's kinda ambiguous, could be about or person or even a city itself ("Testify my love for you / I know it runs deep through your 'body' too / From the cold blacktop to the hot concrete") | |

as mentioned before nofx's "reply" to this song was one celled creature; Life on a mattress in a robe in a room full of emptiness Knowledge has much better uses than self-pity and superiority Maybe you are or could be the next Hoffman, Mahatma, or Chomsky But no one will ever know A sum of your parts are not gonna change any hearts Not with hate in your eyes In order to lead by example you have to show A path to a better world, not a cell if you look in the booklet of "potemkin city links" on [one of] the last page[s] there's a picture of glen sitting on a mattress in a pretty empty room with a bath-robe thing on. i think someone said this before but fat mike said he would never have gone vegan etc. if he hadn't listened to propagandhi; that's why he says "maybe you could be the next hoffman, mahatma or chomsky" obviously there is a reference to "anti-manifesto" in there as well, "a sum of your parts..." i'm not sure how serious this is though. if you listen to propagandhi's podcast (http://g7welcomingcommittee.com/radio/) they take the piss out of the whole "wolves in wolves' clothing" album in "episode 3 - "the people's revolution is gonna be a..." podcast". i heard somewhere they were leaving fat wreck, but i don't know whether it's true or not. |

| Also... I don't know why you're saying 'fuck religion'; the majority of things they teach you are beneficial for everyone. Like, 'help your neighbor' and things like that. Is that really so bad? I'm not sure about the existance of Jesus or God and all that, but surely, if it helps people lead a better life leave them to it. Obviously you don't need to believe in God or Jesus or anything to know to treat people with respect, but who cares; if it works for them, fine. [I don't agree with the homophobia thing... lots of people forget about that - Christianity says you shouldn't be gay. I'm not gonna listen to someone who tells me what my sexuality should be.] | |

About the God thing... Someone may have said this before, I didn't read it. It's called the Teapot theory. So, I beleive there's a teapot floating in space. The existance of the teapot can neither be proven or disproven, which makes that teapot as real as God. Doesn't contribute to any argument, I just thought it was funny. |

Heffy, shut up. I'd say most of them bands you listed were just as famous. Almost everyone who was alive then knows Stiff Little Fingers. Also, would you like a genre of music that stayed the same for 30 years? Every band, the same? I don't think so. So you need a bit of change, don't you? Do you want me to list you some modern punk bands? |
