Can't believe no one posted on this song... the first song I remember listening to by Reba, and while growing up I understood somewhat of it but never really understood it all till I was in my teens. Basically...Bobby's the boy in blue, watching his father in the courtroom...he blamed his father for choosing to "pull the plug" on his mother so she wouldn't be in pain anymore and so did everyone else in the community. His father was put in jail, I'm assuming by taking his wife off of the machine without the doc knowing (?) As time passed on, bobby realized that his father made the right move and instead of alienating his father, he decides to visit him and make ammends. Ahh this song hits a soft spot for me...can relate to it in more ways than one =/ |

| Even if the song is about drugs, its still one of my favorite songs. I personally don't percieve it as a "drug" related song...I was in a relationship with my ex && I was seeing my now husband at the time, and my ex && I were going through a tough time && my husband told me that he didn't care that I was wearing his engagement ring, that I was his && I could take my time getting out of the relationship. There is also a huge age difference between us and"you don't look ashamed && baby Im not scared" sooo relates to how we felt at the time. Ah I just love this song. | |

I love this song. Loved it when it first came out && I love it now! I think its pretty self explanitory, she was in love with someone && then one day she realizes that the way he has been acting is because her significant other has lost feelings for her, and yet he is her favorite mistake. I think that my ex prolly would say this to me, because I was the one who broke it off, and we had a good thing while it lasted but he just needed to grow the hell up...and i changed my mind basically overnight because I realized taht he was a jerk.
