Hothouse flowers could mean a few things. A hothouse is a greenhouse, a sheltered place where plants can grow, thrive, but still be confined. Its a song about breaking out. Which still applies when my cousin told me that a hothouse is also another name for a venue. So, kids who stay out and party all night, or sheltered kids breaking out. And getting caught, too. |
