well, actually, there's a point that everyone missed. I think this song talks too about how we got acostumed to have a moment in our days when everything is one-click away, and how that stripped us (mostly males) from our subtleness and the pleasure of giving pleasure ("'cuz when I'm through I just click and you just go away"). in other words, it says that some of us spend so much time interacting with a machine that emulates a living being, that we forgot how to treat real, living and loving people. it relates with the refrain "arguing in internet is like winning on the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded"; we are forgetting that internet isn't the best way of relate with people, it's merely a good alternative... |
