Using the word 'love' man-to-man in the north isn't that uncommon. It's deffo about his Dad. The reason you hear other stories is that it was picked up by middle England as vindicating their anti-drugs stance. They just didn't listen to the lyrics. |

It *IS* heroin idiots... The song is about being in a relationship you shouldn't be in any more - 'off the wagon and into your arms'. The reference heroin is to the fact you shouldn't be involved with this person any more but can't stop yourself. |
