perhaps Robert did write some dark stuff off their 04 album like you said, but you cant say that he had the same success. and thats not even what i meant. i meant that i like simple, but this is too simple. iLOOVVEEE YOUUU. wow. anyone can do that. you want to hear a simple yet well written love song, just listen to any ben gibbard song (the postal service, death cab for cutie). now thats art. i just expected so much more. and if "im lost without you" is a precursor to this, then IM LOST; Tom thinks he can write anything about love and make it beautiful, he thinks people will brand it as great as long as its simple. ha! its clearly worked on you but as for me... |

hahaha ava23 you realize you are simply excusing this song. yes tom wrote the guitar riff, but you dont hear mark using carousel's bass line in his cd. and even you admit that he "borrowed" the bass part from the cure. c'mon dude open your eyes! this is recycled trash! |

i love this song. yeah it sounds like a box car racer song. when i first heard this song though, i kind of felt sad because the lyrics reminded me a lot of blink you know? i just wish tom wrote more songs like this one, because that's the reason why i fell in love with blink, because i like tom's honest lyrics. |

this is tom's worst song ever. i couldnt even finish hearing it, i had to rush to the restroom and vomit. i honestly dont know where to start. horrible lyrics: "I love you, till the end of time", "you make me feel alive",etc. thinking of this song reminds me what inevitably killed The Cure: Robert Smith falling in love. Yes they still make albums, but have lost their ability to make well-written music. Lets just hope it's not too late for Tom. |

as much as i want ava to succeed, i cant let this song slide. nope, not me. this song is my least favorite along with breathe, which made me vomit halfway because it was so damn cheesy. i mean, i like cheesy, but...well you get my point. neways, tom clearly recycled anthem part two along with the cure's close to me. what garbage; this is ava's worst song on both albums, simply because it's a ripoff. |

i am a huge blink fan along with a plus 44 and ava fan. i bought the new cd and this one along with breathe are easily the worst songs on the album. breathe, well because its so damn cheesy. however,i can see why people like this song so much: Tom simply recyled anthem part two for the guitar and used The Cure's Close to Me bass and "clap" sound. Seriously, as much as i want ava to be great, i just cant let song slide. Catchy? Yes. Innovative and creative? I think not. |
