For me it reflects the beautiful feeling of comfort a baby has in it's mother's womb, the sublime lack of self-consciousness, and the wistfulness one must feel for this absolute peace, once he/she has taken account of the real world. I don't really think this is the 'happy-happy-joy-joy!!!' kind of song. It's more subtle than that. And the lower sounds in the background give the song it's depth. |

Well how about: the man is Jesus.. humanity is asking for him to die in order to 'redeem' them? 'Jump into the light' - something like 'die, go to heaven and save us'. He starts having second thoughts - like the bible says - the human part of Jesus is afraid, wants to go back, but still he has to die so people sentence him to death. (..I'm not religious) |
