I have never heard anyone else mention the following observation but here goes. For those of you not living in Australia ill try to give some more info. The band the 'Rogue Traders' who sang voodoo child and the female vocalist played Izzy in Neighbours, has released a song called 'in love again' I can 100% guarentee that if you love 'In love again' you will love 'head over heels- tears for Fears' (Donnie Darko Soundtrack) equally as much. If you can get ur hands on it have a listen as Im almost certain the rogue traders used tears for fears and specifically head over heels as influence. The nah, nah, nah, nah bit in both of these songs is exactly the same.... even the backing instrumentals and the base line of this song is shared almost identically with 'in love again'.... please have a listen...im interested to hear if anyone else can see the influence. Rogue traders are huge here in australia... |
