aiden is not anti Christian. actually for some reason i remember reading or hearing that one or two of the members are Edge, and the whole "dark" vibe they put off is just bullshit posturing called "Fashion Core" (shitty labeling run-a-muck i'd say). They play some average music. they remind me of Eighteen Vision a lot, not quite musically though. |

fuck misery signals, fuck dead to fall. I have the reunion show on dvd along with almost all of their live videos, they were amazing. probably one of the best metalcore-ish albums of all time, behind Prayer For Cleansing's Rain in Endless Fall. |

Well, Mr. CKwillburn. What exactly do you think they try to portray. Every song A Day To Remember has is nothing but complaining and girls, and fake friends, and fans. Do emo kids directly affect your life? Porbably not, im sure no one goes and grabs your shoulder to cry on. Now, A Day To Remember is great when you are in the mood, but to pun emo kids in your comment, especially to this song which is as emo as it gets lyrically. So yeah, you may not like emo, but its everywhere, realzie it. I predominantly agree that emo kids can be annoying, but A Day To Remember is pretty damn close. |

pretty good song. im taking this as an old girlf friend trying to get him to break edge, not necessarily her hurting him from a relationship POV. from the passage, "You're blinded by your instincts, I'm not your fucking game, I'm not so easily beat" im sure she is trying to say that he should break, but he is telling her that he's not a game to be played like this, and she needs to realize what she is fucking with. Though many will start to bitch about how he is saying she made a mess and blah blah, he;s unhappy blah blah. shut up. Yeah, he was unhappy, he loved her, tried to make her realize, and it turned sour. FUCK!. |

I am quite surprised to see no one has commented this song as of yet, considering it's one of the gems of this album. Many will, and do, take this as a "girlfriend" or "love of his life" that changed. Pretty explanatory, huh. But, i think he is talking about more than one, though Jeremy writes singularly, i think he means all his old loves in general, since he cant call out each individual. He is deeply hurt and saddened, but he knows no matter what, he has the power of God. Which can diminish the most brute of pains. As he states "He’s everything that you could never be" clearly shows his point. And it will be well taken. Oh, and the 3 piece breakdown is a plus too. |
