I had a really bizarre new years. I was with the boy I like so much it hurts, but distance seperates us. He lives two provinces away from me. Anyways, this song perfectly describes my New Years Eve/Morning. The girls in sequined dresses, and the boys all ready to party. Not one person was sober. Him and I both realized that the New Year was meaningless, but being with eachother wasn't. We woke up the same. There's this big emphasis on changing who you are..making a "New Years Resolution" but that's absolute b.s, because before you know it..you wake up and its the morning. You haven't changed, it's just another morning. The part in the song where it goes "There'd be no distance that could hold us back" just throws me in loops. Distance is meaningless if you know that person is worth meaning something to you. |
