Bruce Springsteen – Spirit in the Night Lyrics | 10 years ago |
"Crazy Janey and her mission man were back in the alley tradin' hands" It's a drug transaction. |
Agalloch – Not Unlike the Waves Lyrics | 10 years ago |
-Aurora swims in the ether -emerald fire scars the night sky -Amber streams from Sol -are not unlike the waves of the sea -Nor the endless horizon of ice Auroras are when charged particles hit the atoms in the earth's upper atmosphere, causing glowing ribbons of light. Sol is just another word for the sun; most of the charged particles that cause auroras come from the sun. These light shows are visible when it's dark, since daylight drowns out their relatively faint light. This part of the song is clearly about nighttime—THEN comes Heidrun, a mythological goat, ushering in the dawn crepuscular rays (Solstafir!). Just wanted to clear that up :) |
Goldfrapp – Crystalline Green Lyrics | 17 years ago |
When have you ever seen green coke? It's about dank weed full of trichomes. |

lyrics are also missing a line: Heidrun bleeds the golden nectar for the rising sun and the moon The midnight wolves who watch over the dawn, the golden dawn Solstafir! |
Agalloch – Not Unlike the Waves Lyrics | 17 years ago |
