The line "i could sail a river run dead" is brutal. if a guy ever said that about me i would, as those with very little lives would say, "drop kick him in the face." they're basically saying i COULD give you a shot, honey, but youre just not worth my time and i dont care enough about you to try and make this work. I had this problem with a guy once. great guy, liked him a lot, but he was just such a jerk that i just didnt have the energy to try to make it work, he was freakin hopeless. sorry for the borin anecdote, but thats what this song means to me. its the sweetest form of satisfaction when you can look a person in the face and say, its pointless. and does anybody else like the "dont want you ringin my bell"?? you think thats literal?? =]

ok you ALL are fucking retarded (excuse my language) ESPECIALLY you lastdobermanasshole!!! ITS ZEPPELIN FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD OF COURSE THERES SEXUAL INUENDOS. the beautiful thing about zep's imagery is that it covers past, present, and future. In the past, it could have refered to the mississippi delta flood. in the present, the guys were incredibly sexual in their music. and in terms of the future, is it just me or does anybody catch the prescience of Katrina?!?! it seems so uncanny to me. so prophetic, as well as nostalgic, as well as introspective, as well as downright horny. i mean come on guys its zep.

O DEAR GOOOOD. i love this song. any guy who plays this song becomes instantaneously irresistable to me. its my kryptonite i love it. its such a mental trip. id take my clothes off for this song. its like eye on eye thunder rolling lightening striking oceans parting you i gotta have you now you rock my world melodic ecstacy. no matter how hard i try i always find myself biting my lip. im getting light headed just writing this comment. damn this is the BEST song EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey. who likes the guitar sound about half way through the song. Definitely inspired ZZ Top. and when plant holds inSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE i freakin melt. i have footage of this song performed in 74 and wheh he did that ive never been more attracted to a guy that looked like a girl. Plant's the only guy i know who can have a high voice like that and wear tight pants and a lady's shirt and still be that much of a man.

ok, what is up with the sexy talk? im sorry but this is definitely not one of the sexiest led songs. I mean, the screaming in Nobody's Fault But Mine? i mean, come ooon. o my god and KASHMIR?!?!!? im sorry, but id take my clothes off to kashmir. D'yer Maker--Definitely one of the least sexual songs I've ever heard. not to say i dont like it. Interesting attempt at raggae before it even touched American or British soil. (not sure you can say that considering alot of the carribean was owned by the british for some time...but still, not popular in England) And of course it doesn't sound like the classic raggae we've all come to know in love because it was way before that kind of stuff ever became popular. Definitely ahead of its time. i also like how Page kept his bluesy guitar sounds throughout. High and waily (thats not a word, but you catch my drift) By the by, love the joke behind the song.
