| Iron Maiden – Communication Breakdown (Led Zeppelin cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Great song, but I prefer the Zeppelin version, even though Maiden is my favourite band. Also, it was a B-Side to Bring Your Daughter ... To The Slaughter. | |
| Joan Jett – Crimson And Clover Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't actually know the original, but this is a great song. | |
| Joan Jett and the Blackhearts – Bad Reputation Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Awesome song. Anyway, it's pretty self-explanatory. About her having a bad rep, and people thinking she's strange etc. Doesn't give a damn what people think of her. Kind of seems to go hand in hand with some lines from Victim of Circumstance. |

| Green Day – Mechanical Man Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The song's about Charles Manson and the Manson Family. ---- CHORUS "I live inside of you But you don't belong to me I’m a reflection of you What’s my recipe?" I'm gonna loosely hope is about how the Manson Family was a cult, and people believed in him. The rest of the chorus talks about how insane he was, etc. ---- ---- SONG "I aint a politician, I’m just a bad musician" refers to the album he recorded while on trial to help fund his defense. "Do you have the taste for sex and blood and hate or really good LSD?" Blood and hate for the murders, not sure 'bout LSD, don't know he did drugs. "I’d like to start a band with you I’ll sing and you can learn to play the tambourine" I'm gonna assume this refers to the music again. "Here’s an invitation, no time for hesitation Come and join my family" Obviously mentioning recruiting for the Manson Family. "I’ll give you the heads up Come on and get your legs up This is called 'the family jam'" Not sure. 'family jam' might be Manson Family murders? "Together we'll stay hidden away for Armageddon And stick it to the man" Their plan was to start an interracial war between blacks and white, with the whites being eradicated by feuding within themselves (racist and non-racist). Then the Manson Family would come out of hiding from an underground city (dubbed "The Bottomless Pit" and rule the blacks. "Open up the curtains, then we'll start a hurtin' Come on let's do the creepy-crawl The show's about to go down, Come on, I got the low-down Together we'll make Hollywood fall" About the general murdering, evilness and Armageddon associated with them. ---- At least, that's how I take it. Seems logical to me. If I'm right, SheNagiganz, you're an idiot lol, not a happy song =D |

I don't really have a point of view on the meaning, never really got it, but now I see that it's about being lonely, and then accepted! Anyway, even though the tune is happy, it always makes me sad. |

| The Beatles – Paperback Writer Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Least favorite Beatles song? Well, I suppose I'm not a big fan of most of their music, so ... but Daytripper and Paperback Writer are their best work and are my favourite Beatles songs by far! Hey Jude is good too, as well as Let it Be. Anyway, I heard that Paul said that he could write a song about anything, and his grandma told him to write one about a paperback writer. At least, that's what I've heard, not sure if it's true. | |
| Elvis Presley – Hey Jude (The Beatles cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Wow the Elvis cover sucks. His voice is weak and faltering compared to The Beatles (I THINK it's McCartney who sings it? Not a Beatle-phile lol). If you like this and haven't heard the original, I urge you to immediately download Hey Jude by The Beatles. NOW. | |

Good song, one of the only Beatles songs I like lol Except that when they say "Hey Jude, don't be afraid You were made to go out and get" I always think they're gonna say "laid" lol. I don't know why, but I do. |

Great song, surprised at so few comments. Ace got the inspiration from a time when he got electrocuted on stage. It's also a metaphor for a relationship. |

| KISS – Strutter Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| productosthe80s got it, in my opinion. My fave kiss song, great guitar riffs! | |
| Warrant – In The Sticks Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| About meeting I girl, and eventually they have sex "where the cat tails grow real high". One of my favourite Warrant songs! | |
| Warrant – Uncle Tom's Cabin Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I just got into Warrant and this is the only song I knew by them before ... Anyway, unless it's some hidden meaning and the whole song is a metaphor, it's about the guy and his uncle who were out fishing and see the sheriff and deputy dragging to dead guys (who they presumably killed) into the well. They then agree never to tell anyone what they saw. That's my take on it, anyway. Good song. Not their best, but still good. |
