First of all the lyrics was not complete. Anyway, this was with the beetlebum single and beetlebum was their first single in the post britpop era. If you'll look at the lyrics of this song you'll notice the band's feelings toward the britpop movement. I.E. " Oh England, my love, you lost me, made me look a fool" & "Oh england, my love, you've tattooed your past all over me". |
