This song is just amazing. To me, it describes the relationship I have with my best guy friend. We've liked each other for four years, and right before he went away to college, literally a week before, we figured out we had feelings for each other. Now, we're at different points in our lives where we can't be together but everytime we talk it's like there will always be this space in my life open for him and vice versa. |

I went to the John Mayer Concert like two nights ago. And he said the song was about when you first wake up in the morning, there are 5 seconds of bliss where you forget everything that's going on in your life--all the problems, and situations. And in those 5 seconds, it's like the best feeling in the world. He said how when you hear this song you're supposed to feel those 5 seconds of bliss in a longer amount of time and how all your problems they should go away. He said that as he's singing you should trust in him that everything will be better and just forget about your problems for those 5 minutes of those songs. =] |
