There is a book by Ken Kesey called "Sailor Song", I haven't read it yet, but before the story begins, there is a part from a song by Leonard Cohen, "suzanne". When i heard the song, it reminded me automatically of this song by Regina Spektor, I bought an album of his that has another song on it called "So long Marianne", which also always reminds me of Regina Spektors "Sailor Song". Not sure if these songs have anything to do with Regina Spektor, though I do think it is likely, because I know Regina Spektor listens to Leonard Cohen considering she has sung live to of his original songs, "Hallelujah" and "Chelsea Hotel No. 2" |

I've never heard the song, but these lyrics are absolutely amazing. Regina Spektor is magical!
