i can relate to this song so much. i recently moved to hawaii from connecticut to go to kamehameha school. It was really hard for me to deal with the move in the beginning. I was out of place, and i just wanted to go home to be back with my family. the part where it says, " And I know that this is new Like your first day of school And you're feeling awkward Like you miss your home And it leaves you with an empty feeling I just can't take it anymore" i really could relate to this part, because all i wanted to do was to feel at peace and have everything be back to normal. I definitely was homesick, and definitely still am. This entire album is like the soundtrack to my life. it goes through my every emotion: sorrow, long distance relationships, break ups, death, homesickness. Everything, this album has to be the best album they have put out yet. |
