Lyrically one of my favourite MCR songs.. This song makes me think about how at funerals, nobody says anything bad.. even if the dead person was a complete douche, we only say good things about them even if it's a lie "Cos we are all a bunch of liars, Tell me baby who do you wanna be?" I don't know if that was the intended effect, but it's how i interpret it. |

i dont know what Tim meant this song to mean, but to me it describes my life before mcr. i know people are going to think that that's really lame, but its what this song makes me think of. i esspecially love the line "Your words are always there to break my fall In them I find the comfort to see through it all" =] I saw Rise Against last year, and they were amazing.. although i missed half of their set because i was trying to meet The Bled. lol. |

when i heard 'two out of three aint bad' i immediately thought of meatloaf's song.. 'two out of three aint bad' and in that song it says "i want you, i need you, but there aint no way im ever gonna love you" [wicked song by the way.. if you havent heard it then go and buy a cd with it on!!] so i think its a reference to that song!! petes a pretty smart guy with his lyrics, so by mentioning another song is kind of like having two songs in one i could be wrong, but that makes sense to me |

i think there are a million things this song could mean and its up to the listener to get their own meaning from it. the meaning i get is that bob is a fucking awesome as drummer at the begginning and thats about all i care about at the moment bob rocks.. HARD! so as youve maybe guessed.. ima big bob fan >.< he's awesome!! and this song has his best drumming in it [in my opinion] cant wait to see him play it live! remember: theres more to a band than just the gerard :] |

k i havent bothered to read all these so im sorry if im repeating what someone eles has said.. but.. i was thinking that maybe the part that says "the road outside my house is paved with good intentions" means the road outside his house is the road to hell.. becos ppl say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, so it might be a play on words!! i think the overall theme of the song could be either about the whole petes suicide thing.. but im not really sure, when i first heard the song i thought of like false love.. mainly because of the line "i love you in the same way, theres a chapel in a hospital" a chapel and a hospital are like complete opposites, and a chapel would be really out of place in a hospital [religion (chapel) vs. science (hospital)] so i interpreted it to mean that his love for [her/him] is kind of messed up and he thinks its real but its not.. im not sure if that makes sense to anyone.. lol.. i have trouble writing in complete sentences, so im sorry if that whole thing makes no sense what-so-ever!! :) |

I have one thing to sya to 'Stoner4life' You must open you mind my hate-filled friend!! And MCR are musical geniuses.. dont diss them, even if you dont like their music.. You are allowed to not like it, but you dont need to get into saying personal remarks about them.. This song is cool.. not my favourite off TBP but all of them are good in their own ways.. thats what i like about MCR songs.. they are never the same as each other, and i rekon all of them are good enought to be released as singles.. it must be hard for them to choose which ones they release |

i really like the video to this song.. its a nice straight performance!! not one of the songs i would have picked to be released as a single, but it seems much loved! my personal favourite from the black parade is either Mama, or disenchanted.. or i dont love you (which is supposedly the next single) but they are all good in their own ways.. thats the good thing about MCR, all their songs are very different and brilliant in their own ways |
