"What a fantastic song The emotion builds up as the song progresses Until the last two lines which make me wanna cry....and im a guy." I couldn't agree with you more, especially in your last sentence. By far the most emotional song of the album, great song. |

I think the song has to do with sex. In the first two paragraphs ofthe song Kele talks about how throughout his life the media has told him how great sex was and now he is hearing a different message from his family so when he says "all my thoughts are all lies" he doesnt know who to believe. Then when he says "I'm a simple man with a simple desire" its pretty obvious that his desire is sex. In the next paragraph it seems like he did have sex so now hes questioning his decision and trying to decide whether it was right or not of him. Then when he says "so just take off your shirt, and just take off your dress" well thats self-explanatory isnt it? Then when he finishes with "I'm just a skeleton" he means hes lot hope in himself and his friends. There's loooooots of meaning to this song so by no means read just a few of these explanations. Have fun... and Bloc Party is so awesome |
