Whenever I hear this song. I see some one sitting in an attic in an old house with cobwebs and random paintings. The person is sitting in the window and just thinking about how life was suppose to be so great, but didn't end up too well. "Promises of payment were upon your shoulders constantly" I just see this as the person had asked for help from some one whom they confided in and now realize that they are no longer there and just make up excuses to why they cannot help them. |
