This songs all about being alone in the world. Though an interesting thing about the line 'lonely as i am together we cry'. Its linked to Hillels death of course but it could also mean that him and the city of LA are both suffering from different causes but they are both isolated in a way. Just a thought. Love this song :) |

I agree with many of you its a very unappreciated song. It reminds me of sunny days and just being glad to be alive. Smith says that he was going to commit suicide in this song but he realises the day is worth living for its just the night thats hard to get through. |

Tupac Shakur was way beyond his time hes an inspirational individual and not a day goes by when i dont listen to at least one of his songs.
This song is all about the struggle he had to live through from cops tryna bust him for drugs when what people should be focusing on are the things that matter such as poverty and war.
My favourite lyric is 'I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself
is life worth living should I blast myself?'
