Wow! This song (not to mention artist) deserves so much more coverage! Then again, I think I'd prefer him to remain underground. He isn't tainted by anything and continue making great music.

This is such a beautiful song and a great love story. I also love the play on words. In the chorus, "Run, Lejos, Run" can be interpreted as a command but if you translate lejos from Spanish to English it also means "Run, far away, run". |

This song really does describe Bella and Edward's relationship throughout the entire series, I think. Because he's always so reluctant to just be with her fully and he truly believes that her life would be so much more if he weren't around. |

I definitely feel like this song is about not being able to reach orgasm with a lover. Like maybe she really wanted to like him more and love him more, but she just couldn't and it's made apparent with the fact that she can't feel aroused enough with him. But that's just me haha. I can see how you could compare this to Regina's "Consequence of Sounds". They have that same kind of spoken word rhythm backed by music that isn't too overwhelming. Personally I'm much more in love with Ani's lyrics, althought I definitely love both songs! I like how everything keeps relating back to that cemetery in the first verse, and I especially love the line
"May their souls rest easy now that lynching is frowned upon..We've moved on to the electric chair"
Ahhh GOLDEN. Whether she meant to or not, what a great way to comment on the fact that even today in our "equal" society, it is black men who are most crucified! |

I disagree, I absolutely love the ending. I listened to this and my love for it built up with its progression, and the end was the icing on the cake for me.
I also love the juxtaposition between the heavy subject material and the upbeat melody. Perfect. |

I wasn't really "feeling" this song at first, but there was something about it that kind of grabbed me from the first line and kept me listening. I love how it picks up towards the end, and that chorus - oh! It breaks my heart with how..perfect it is. |
