This song means a ton to me. It helped me so much... I recently lost my older brother... And within the same week, my great grandma. I was extremely close to both of them. I'd heard the song before, but I never really understood why they said the things they did until I lost someone so close as my brother. It made me cry when I heard it the first time after I found out about my brother.. I listened to it the same day I was told. I listen to it at least 5 times a day now. It's been a week since he died, and I've been able to cope so well because of this song. I play guitar, so the part where he talks about bringing his guitar when he goes is something I can really relate to. and the bridge... My eyes still just fill with tears when I hear it, and I'm alone. I love this song dearly, and I want it to be played at my funeral one day. |

I love this song so much. I have a good explanation for it. In my English class, we've learned a little bit about the tragedy at Columbine.. This has kind of got me into an investigation of some sort. I want to know more about it.. It says things like, "Do you believe in God?" And "Say yes to pull the trigger" And all sorts of other creepy stuff... Today, my teacher read us a section from a book called She Said Yes.. Her name was Cassie. Ironic, no? I have a feeling that the song Cassie was based on that book, because in that book, one student said he remembered the killers asking Cassie if she believed in God, and when she said yes, they killed her. "And Cassie pulled the trigger..." .So while my teacher was reading us all this stuff, I had the song Cassie playing in my head... |
