I love all of Taylor Swift's music but this song and "Teardrops on My Guitar" are my favorites. It's so sweet and innocent and it gives off a cheerful vibe. The meaning is obvious; the girl is bothered that she doesn't have a song with her boyfriend. He tells her that it doesn't matter because they share so many other things like late night phone calls, memories, and basically just the cliched couple happiness. It's a cute song and I can relate to the part that says:
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow,
'cause it's late and your mama don't know
I love being on the phone late at night when I'm not supposed to be. So this part of the song reminds me of the conversations that I have late at night. This is a very cute song and I can't wait to hear more from Taylor Swift. =) |

I love this song. The accoustic guitar gives a beautiful sound and the lyrics are so effective. To me, this song is about SHOWING someone that you love them rather than just telling them. That idea is pretty obvious from the song's title. The part that says...
What would you say if I took those words away

Just by saying I love you
I think that this means that in a relationship, mere words aren't enough. You have to show the other person that you love them, not just tell them. By showing them how you feel, I mean physical stuff like hugs and kisses and everything, but even little things like simply staring into someone's eyes. Anyway, that's my input on "More Than Words." Beautiful song =) |

I love RJA. I think that this song is about a guy who believes in a girl because "there's a fire in her eyes"..meaning she is talented and special and that she just needs to show it. Like I don't really believe in myself a lot and my self esteem is quite low, but my best friend thinks so highly of me and tells me so a lot. But this song just reminds me of some of the things he tells me. Great job, RJA. |

I love this song. When I first listened to it, I thought that it was about a man who was singing to his daughter's boyfriend. But now it makes more sense that it's about a guy who realized he was a jerk to a girl he really loved and now it's too late to do anything about it. Great song... |

I like this song. It's adorable. I especially like the part where the little boy is praying and he said that he learned how to pray from his dad. That is SO CUTE! Like the dad didn't realize that he was "talking to God like he was talking to a friend." Good song. |

Since this is Hinder's song, I'm sure that Jack Ingram had the appropriate permission to redo it. Anyway, I do think that it was too soon to put this version out. I love country music and I like this song (not many people that I know do) but I like Hinder's version better. And on iTunes, this song is sung "It's really good to hear your voice CALLING my name" and I'm like it's "SAYING!!" But whatever. Good song. Good concept that I can relate to. |

This song is great. I love the end when his kids sing the chorus..so cute! Anyway, the meaning I gather from this song is being free from responsibilities and thanking someone for "the most beautiful set of wings." If nothing else, this song just gives off a happy aura. I think that this song is about a summer romance that neither person expected to experience. And when "she drove away," meaning that summer was over and they had to break up, he would remember her. This kind of reminds me of "The Notebook" when Noah and Allie break up. But anyway, I love this song. |

Amazing song. I cried when I heard it..and it takes a good bit to make me cry. But a few months after I first heard this song, my friend was diagnosed with leukemia. He was only 17 at the time and I think of him every time I hear this song. |
