"Shackle their minds when they're bent on the cross
When ignorance reigns, life is lost"
Let us all remeber the cover that christianity gives to facsists and oppressors the world over...If god wills it you must submit to authority......Just look how the republicans hide behind the cross while fucking killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people |

To all those saying that Orwell hated Communism that is inncorrect. Yes Animal farm is critical of Bloshevism and Leninism becasue these forms of Communism were auothoritarian, which Orwell was deffinetly against. He was a communist, but more on the Trotskyist side....favoring maximum individual freedom and a government of aide, not repression as bloshevism and leninism and then Stalinism advocated. Read down and out in paris in london. But what Orwell was really concerned about was a government like we have now in the Bush Administration...authoritarianism. Just look at the names....War on terror....operation enduring freedom........since when is war freedom??? |

"The bossess right to live is mine to die" refers to the long held Leftist belief that a willing person can effect political change by assasination becasue they are willingto give up their life for a cause. IE you can't kill a revoulutionary and rage also refers to this idea in other songs such as the line "Its my life for their life so we'll call it an even trade". The above is correct that the title does refer to Franz Fanton and the Algerian revolution but not the basis of the lyrics |

Perhaps there might be a little bit of sympathy for President Kennedy and not sarcasm. Kennedy had his faults be he was very anti-establisment and attempted to change a great deal (although sometimes slowly) and his brother was the greatest liberal hope for America since the time of the revolutionaries. Being that Jackie Onassis uttered these exact same words when JFK was shot may recall the horror of that moment. JFK was likely killed by a rght wing conspiracy and had he lived almost certinly would have ended the Vietnam war. I believe that rage is recalling the fact that every great hope for America JFK... Dr King.... RFK eventually is killed by the brutal right wing. "were already dead" may refer to anyone who attempts to change things. I do have trouble with rage seeing the right wing assasination of a liberal president with sarcasm |

This is about being a leftist stuck in America. It does not matter when, but the last few years have been the worst. Zach reminds us of the Israeli illegal and fascist occupation of Palestine and also of the Christian right here in america who only wish us all to conform to their hateful and intolerant view of the world........THE LIES IN MY LIFE WEVER NEVER SETTELED |

Well, I dunno about this guy being a good friend of Zachs above....but what handicapable is refering to is called the Ghost Dance. It was a ritual to honor the dead worriors of the past but, Custer is unrelated. He died in 1876 while the "ghost dance massacre" occured in 1890........See the work "burry my hand at wounded knee" |

Okay everyone, "A fire in the masters house is set" refers to a tactic used by slaves or endentured servants to punish a cruel overseer or master. Arson was virtually impossible to prove or for that matter determine the source of, so therefore it was used to deal death to creul masters. |
