What a great straightforward song to describe the pitiful state a man can find himself in when a relationship goes in the shitter and he still has (or thinks he has) feelings for the woman. I listened to this song many a time back when it came out while going through my first divorce and I now kick myself in the ass for feeling that bad and not getting over it sooner! :) |

I can't tell if they're being sarcastic and speaking like a woman or not with this song. I'd like to think its a common sense way to approach an adult relationship today. Get with some chick, get to know her, have a good time, continue being yourself and if it seems like a good thing then DO your thing. Otherwise, kick her to the curb and don't compromise who you are in the process (a little self-respect). No big deal either way. |
