I don't have an interpretation to offer, but i noticed there is speculation as to the symbolic meaning of the color blue itself. It may be interesting to note that many occultists believe blue to be the color of Demonic energy. |

People are trying to be a bit too deep with this song. This song is about a having a drug dealer when you are needing a fix. Depeche Mode is in no way a xtian band. Just read between the lines. |

This song is pretty odd in it's own right, being (to my knowledge) unreleased, and reletivley unknown. I just find it interesting that the bit about Jesus' return is heard from the right speaker, perhaps symbolic of right-handed religion such as Christianity. The overall tone of the song is absolutley horrific and paniced, so i get the feeling that he's speaking of how said right handed religions focus on faith through scare tactics. Repent for your sins or suffer for them. |
