it doesnt really controdict it. basically, they brainwashed you, filled your head with lies, and when you were what they wanted you to be, then your ok now. P.s. i dont see any reason we shouldnt treat bullys of today like the afflicted witches that used to burn at the stake. and THE bes workout song is Throwdown-To Live is To Sacrifice! |

This song is obviously about a girl/ person who is either outcasted due to distict differences. (in the lines) "you were from a perfect world/ a world that threw me away today" or she is dead "threw me away". because our society usually deems outcasts, and rebels as trash. and what do we do to dead people? we throw them out. as for the drug thing. i got the impression that she wasnt really addicted to recreational drugs (pot, heroine, cocaine), but more like anti-depressants. "a pill to make you numb, a pill to make you dumb" sounds like anti-depressants were just "numbing" the pain. and like alot of people that are on anti-depressants, she felt like less of a person because she needed to shadow something, something that others didnt. this song is so beautiful in that it is so easily interpretated in different ways. giving the song a larger target audience, and helping a larger group of people cope, or vent. Amazing song! |
