They switched the names for this song and baby, you wouldn't last a minute on the creek. When you switch the title to what they should be the lyrics make a lot more sense for each song. So basically in this song he's talking about how he let this girl drown in a creek, and in the other he's talking about shutting out his best friend. |

There is some severe mistakes in the lyrics. Its not "My guy has a tan transcontinental". It's My guy is a tad too transcontinental". O yea haha and where it says "my guy has a tattoo ornamental" thats just moronic. It really is "my guy is a tad too ornamental" seems like a third grader wrote these lyrics down. Don't know if anyone has said this stuff yet but w/e amazing song btw and for the meaning I have no idea but who actually discusses the meaning on this site anyways? |

I think maybe it's from the point of view of Lazarus. Because in the actual lyrics of the song Brian never says Lazarus. Possibly talking about Jesus. "Now that your back from the dead" sounds like he might be jealous of jesus. I think the song as a whole might be a metaphor for jealousy and disgust towards a person. |
