Seems to me its a song about getting away from life and hitting the town for a fun time. But this being Maynard, I'm sure there is another meaning here. But at this time I'm just not getting it. Anyone else? |

I think when corey says, "looking at you through the glass" he is refering to being in a state of mind, that has be achieved through either heavy drug use or alcholism. Apparently, the scene that comes to my mind is a treatment facility/mental institution "And while your outside looking in Describing what you see Remember what your staring at is me" This would contribute to what i am saying, because the doctors at the treament facility are studying him "How do you feel? That is the question But i forget.. you dont expect and easy answer When something like a soul becomes Initialized and folded up like paper dolls and little notes You cant expect a bit of hope" How do you feel? is how every treatment meeting starts. After that statment is his response. This song is sweet |
