I take great offense to this. I'm from South Dakota and know what this song is about, we have fires here too you know. We know about tragedy, there are tornadoes here every summer that ruin people's lives.
Yes, this was a tremendous struggle for people in San Diego but to think people in South Dakota can't relate to tragedy is completely naive. Yes this song was written about the fires in San Diego but it can be used for any tragedy. |
