| Manchester Orchestra – I Can Feel a Hot One Lyrics | 17 years ago |

i think "mannny/manna" is symbolic for something else. by 'hell of a drug' i don't believe he's referring to an actual drug. the bit at the end is a bit confusing. hmmm...this song is definitely very low-key. from listening to the song i get a feeling of unsettlement and longing :/ that might just be me, though. |

I agree with the last two comments. You really don't understand till you've been there. It's easy to call the girl cocky and immature, but sometimes you just find yourself in difficult situations. It sucks. I would reccommend to anyone to try to avoid having feelings for your "friend" who also happens to be in a relationship. Also, eh heh, about the song... It is pretttyyy indeed. |

| The Format – If Work Permits Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i think the part about the sailors is like, indecision, and he is thinking twice about being with this girl. | |

| shit. i thought i was on "soon you will be leaving your man" on that last part. not that this song isn't "beautiful" but its not really my favorite. | |

oh godddd. dont compare conor to bk. i like them both. but ..yeah. i like it. i like how conor uses storytelling in his songwriting. like yellow bird, stray dog, ...there was one other one i noticed, but i can't remember. anyways, yeah. it's very interesting. and yeah, beaaaauuuuutiful song. one of my favorites for sure :] |

| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics | 19 years ago |

the lyrical content leaves much to be desired. but admittedly, very catchy. i like fall out boy, but they need to spend more time on their lyrics. "nobody puts baby in the corner" is proof or their potential. |

so wear me like a locket around your throat ill weigh you down, ill watch you choke amaaaaaaazing. normally, i'm not one to analyze. but it seems like this is about his relationship with a girl he thinks is out of his league.. and she tries to keep it secret because she's ashamed. ha! that's what i get out of it though. but uhhhhyeah. |

| Brand New – Jude Law and a Semester Abroad Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
not saying that i actually know what i'm talking about.. but this is all interpretive (unless you are you know jesse lacey, which is completely unlikely) there's no need to argue over "who is right" ... "jesus christ, that's a pretty face" favorite. i just want to listen to it over and over. |
|
| Brand New – Jude Law and a Semester Abroad Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| why would he be say 'jess i still taste you' if he was talking about himself. maybeee he is talking about a girl whose name was jessica.. or jesse or whatever. it's possible that was the girl's name. don't act like you're right if you don't really know. | |
| Brand New – Jesus Christ Lyrics | 19 years ago |

i think the part about "what did you do those three days you were dead?" is talking about how jesus died, and came back on easter. i'm not sure if that was 3 days, but that's what i'm getting from it. the beginning is the most beautiful part. ohhhhh, it kills me. and yeah, it makes you think it could also be about a girl, and not neccessarily religious. |
