| The Used – I Caught Fire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The song was written about Bert's gf Kate, who died while she was pregnant with their child. It's about wanting to stay with the person you love forever, and never wanting to let them go or never having to lose them. | |

| I love this song, and I tihnk it has two meanings- litteral and figurative. The litteral meaning is exactly what it says, they're in LA and trying ot keep their faith but it's hard. The figurative can be interpretated however you want. I'm not really sure what it means, but I still love this song, and it makes me think a lot about my life and how people can make their lives worse/better depending on how they react to changed. Idk, but I still love this song with a burning passion! =] | |

| I think this cover just might be even better than the original song. lol | |
| Panic! at the Disco – This Is Halloween Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I really lke this cover, and the song is purely amazing, but I hafta say Manson's is better. Panic kinda makes it too calm. I like Manson's because it's sinister and creepy, and Panic doesn't really do that kind of music. lol. I love it though. =] | |

To Duke- You are an idiot. You're saying that people here have no lives, when you're the one on here every day fighting back? Bored, aren't you? Oh, and learn to spell and type please. People here aren't Satanists or goths. That's just you being a steryiotypical moron. You need to get out more. Anyways, now that I've said that, I'll say what I think the song means, which is the whole point of this website. I think "Freak on a Leash" is a song about wanting to get away, either physically or mentally, from a hectic life. Why they want to get away isn't said. If could be the band saying that want to get away from all the cameras and TVs, or it could be about a normal person who just wants to get away from their family, co-workers, or peers. It's basically about getting away from people that cause you stress and pain. |

This song is open for interpretation (I don't know if I spelled that right). It can mean different things to different people. Maybe it was origionally written to be about a drug addicted teen, but it can mean more than that. It's about what's wrong in your own life. Drug addiction, alcoholism, a loved one passing away, breaking up, losing touch with an old friend, losing touch with your family, or anything going on with you or your family or friends that fits. For me, when I hear this song I think about how much of an ass my dad is, and how it has made me lose touch with my mom, even though we're all living under one roof. Whenever my parents fight I ignore it, and my mom ends up in tears. I feel like if I just go sit with her things could be better, but I'm scared to. I missing being close with my mom, bu I feel like my dad's problems are keeping us apart. Anyways, that's jsut what this song means to me. |

| 30 Seconds to Mars – From Yesterday Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Ok, so everyone is thinking this song is about a soldier, or jsut a normal person. Well, what if it was about a murderer? "He’s a stranger to some And a vision to none He can never get enough, Get enough of the one" Not everyone knows who is doing the killing, and no one looks up to a murderer unless it's another one. And if it's a cereal killer, he can't get enough thrill from just one kill. (Heh, that rhymed.) "For a fortune he'd quit But it’s hard to admit How it ends and begins On his face is a map of the world (A map of the world) On his face is a map of the world (A map of the world) From yesterday, it’s coming! From yesterday, the fear! From yesterday, it calls him But he doesn't want to read the message here" He'd stop killing if he was paid enough, although he doesn't want to tell people that because he likes killing. His face shows that he is crazy. The "From yesterday" past could mean that something a long time ago caused him to be this way. "But he doesn't want to read the message here" means that he wants to knows what the police are thinking, but not in public. He wants to stay in secret. "On a mountain he sits, its not of gold but of shit through the blood he can look, see the lives that he took From a count to the one He'll decide when he's done with the innocent" The mountain could be all the money he thought he was going to get, but he ends up with nothing. The blood and innocent fit in with the scene and victims of a murder. "From yesterday, it’s coming From yesterday, the fear From yesterday, it calls him" maybe for a little while he stopped killing, but he can't fight the urge and he's going to kill again. Well, this is just my idea. Disagree or agree, I don't care. =P |
